Increased consumption of water daily is important for people battling weight loss issues. It helps increase your body metabolism rate, hold back your appetite and helps you get rid of unwanted weight. Water additives for weight loss vary from plain water or infused with vegetables and fruits, water enriched foods to diet tea.

For effective weight loss increase the amount of liquid you take daily. Fluids make you feel full with no need to eat high calorie foods or drinks. Opt to eat foods with fewer calories to pace up the weight loss. Take water before taking any meals as this will aid digestion and enhance quick absorption of nutrients. Substitute snacks and sweet beverages with water or low calorie drinks.

Alcohol consumption accelerates weight gain especially when consumed with plenty of red meet. Consider matching equal amounts of water with alcohol consumed. Opt for lean white meet such as turkey or chicken instead of pork or red meat. Avoid high salt intake in foods as it dry up fluids in the body, rather use natural spices, herbs such as garlic to add flavor to the food. Always make effort to drink a minimum of 64 ounces of fluid daily. Take in intervals rather than drinking at once. Create a plan to have at least 9-10 fluid breaks every day. Accompany this with foods that are not dry such as vegetables and watery fruits like melons. Healthy lifestyle should be your priority.

You may also try following water fast for a few days. This is a temporary quick way to lose weight. This can be done by doing little fasts and continue doing it again for few weeks or months. In case you have dietary issues or health complication, this may not work for you. Eat lightly so as to get your body ready for the fast. Avoid salty foods; increase your fluids intake to help retain the body hydrated.

Start the fast when you feel ready. Drink much water for breakfast, during lunch and in the evening for dinner. Be sure to only eat herbal supplements, fluid additives or leafy vegetables only when you feel hungry. This will help enhance electrolytes balance in the body during the fast. As the fast continue put into your diet fruits and proteins like lean meat only until you have achieved your results.

Another way of shedding calories is using additives like herbal green tea and smoothies. Before consuming a meal take 8 oz of green tea four times a day. It enhances the antioxidants and keeps you full hence no need to feed. Smoothies from leafy green vegetables wipe out excess fats and help you lower your weight.
